Who we are

CopyLift is a product of [LEGAL ENTITY], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS](“we”). For anything on this page, write to [PRIVACY EMAIL]. Access to CopyLift runs through a ToolSuite account, and ToolSuite handles the account and billing data that goes with it.

What we collect

• The content you paste, and the results.When you’re signed in, these are saved to your account so your history, documents and dashboard work. They are stored in our database, isolated per user so only you can read them, and we never use them to train models.
• Interface preferences.The workspace stores your panel widths in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device. See Cookies.
• No tracking. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party trackers, no profiling.
• Account data. When ToolSuite sign-in goes live, your identity comes from your ToolSuite account. We only receive what is needed to confirm you have access.

AI processing

The tools send the text you submit to our AI provider, OpenAI, to generate a result, which comes back to your browser and is saved to your account. We do not use your content to train models, and we do not build a profile from it. The AI Detector is the exception: it runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing anywhere.

Practically: do not paste anything into any AI tool — ours included — that you would not be comfortable sending to a third-party processor.

Who else sees it

• OpenAI — processes the text you submit to the tools (every tool except the in-browser AI Detector) in order to generate the result.
• Our database provider — stores the inputs, results and documents saved to your account, isolated per user.
• Our hosting provider — serves the site and, like any web server, processes the technical request data (IP address, user agent) needed to deliver it.
• ToolSuite — for account and access, once sign-in is live.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Your saved inputs and results stay with your account. Documents can be deleted from the Documents view; a self-serve way to clear your run history, and a defined retention window, are on the list before launch. Server logs are kept only as long as needed to operate and secure the service.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete and port your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. Your requests can concern the content saved to your account as well as your ToolSuite account — write to [PRIVACY EMAIL] and we will help.

CopyLift is in active development and this page will change with it. The date at the top is the last revision.
