CopyLift sets no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no third-party tracker on this site — which is why you are not being asked to consent to any.

What we do store

• Panel widths — copylift:left-panel-width and copylift:right-panel-width, in your browser’s local storage, so the workspace looks the way you left it. They contain two numbers and never leave your device.
• A sign-in session cookie— when you’re signed in, a strictly necessary cookie keeps you logged in. It is not used to track you across sites. Your saved work itself lives in your account (our database), not in a cookie.

Signing in

Signing in sets a session cookie — a strictly necessary one, used only to keep you logged in. It is not used to track you across sites. When access moves to ToolSuite, this page will describe any change here.

Clearing it

Clearing your browser’s site data for CopyLift removes the stored panel widths and signs you out; the workspace simply returns to its default layout. Your saved work stays in your account. See Privacy for the full picture.
